Resumo
This study focuses on implementing a low-cost remote monitoring system for cattle management, utilizing hardware and software components. The system consists of a motion sensor, jumpers, ESP32 camera, and TTL programmer for hardware, and an Arduino IDE and visualization environment for software. The study's main strength lies in its cost-effective approach and successful implementation for real-time animal monitoring with internet communication. The programming code was developed used the Arduino IDE. The developed system was tested in a cattle production corral that contained calves, heifers, cows and oxen. Data validation was performed using a confusion matrix and the calculation of the Kappa index, where a slight agreement was found, resulting in a system that is easy to handle, secure, with good scalability, low cost, being able to monitor animals, manage and store data in Telegram. The economic evaluation was based on the comparison of costs and main features of technologies in RFID, Zigbee, Lorawan and ESP32CAM. In this way, it can be concluded that it is possible and feasible to implement the system in TTL for monitoring animals, with remote data collection in real time using a system that integrates communication via the internet.
