Resumo


The reliability of complex systems can be evaluated combining statistical distribution laws in Monte Carlo simulations by modelling long-term failures induced by environmental loads. Attentive to failure mechanisms that favor leakages and applying reliability theory the failure historic are registered, then, estimate probability of failures. The evolution of the mean error of the fatigue damage, as well as the standard deviation show convergence, and a low thickness reduction in the bottom hull panels of the FPSO.
